    The sale of homes to international clients grew by 13% in 2023, with more than 600 Aedas Homes homes purchased by foreigners for more than 340 million euros, according to a study published by the developer.  With regard to the type of buyer, the report shows that this corresponds to a couple in their 50s from Central and Western Europe who buy a three-bedroom property with south orientation and a surface area of around 96 m2, mainly located on the Costa del Sol and Levante. However, over the past year, the area of Tenerife South has gained prominence, becoming the "new fashionable residential destination" for foreigners and one of the developer's most important locations in terms of transaction volume. The five leading provinces in this respect were Malaga, with 29.3% of Aedas Homes sales to foreigners; Alicante (26.2%), Valencia (10%), Madrid (9.7%) and Santa Cruz de Tenerife (6.4%).
